This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
If you're in the Flensburg area, be sure to drop by the tricky '08 festival at the Deutsches Haus at 20:15h - Ernst will be shown there an we'll be there as well.
If your're late, don't worry, we're on after the break. An just in case you miss it, Ernst is still available for download at SCHMÖSIWEB
I downloaded and watched your animation movie ernst. I think it is fantastic! I would like to know if your are planning or have done more animation movies. also, I think it should be viewed for more people, maybe upload it on youtube?
Oops! Ernst has fallen asleep the last few weeks and just recently woke up. He does that.
Thanks for the kind words, we appreciate it! Right now, the chances of us making another animated short together are, let's be honest, slim. This is due to us all having to pay the rent and make a living - 'Ernst' took us about seven months of complete dedication to finish, and without the backing of a school like the ASH it's almost impossible to find the time, money and patience needed to create another project like this one.
But we're all still living in the same area and meeting a lot, so who knows... if we get the chance to take half a year off, why not?
As for YouTube, I'm not sure about the copyright. Last I heard, when you put something up there, it's essentially public domain. I personally don't have any problems with that at all, but we're not the copyright holders of the film, the school is.
We're also a bit skeptical about youtube because we think the film needs to be viewed at least at DVD resolution to be fully experienced and we're fearing that a lot of the atmosphere would be lost when viewed in the lossy and cramped youtube format.
i really enjoyed skimming through your storyboards. as an animation student, that kinda stuff fascinates me. learned me some new things, so thanks. i love the art for your animation, these bgs are awesome. i think the animation itself sorta looks out of place on those bgs, colour and style wise, but that may be just me.
I loved those libraries concepts and interior paintings you've been making... Then, i just discovered that they were all part of an animation study... I've just watched that animation, and... it is just AWESOME!! Your illustrations, the music, the different point of views... You did an amazing job with your colleagues!!! Great work!!
I really appreciate your support.
Have a fun-filled day!
